Slice is a simple command-line utility that splits a file into several 'slices' that can be easily concatenated to recover the original file. Windows OS executable included (requires cygwin1.dll); recompile from source to run on other operating systems. Slice is free software written in C and released under the GNU GPL license (version 2). Version 0.2 has large file support.
